Egypt hosts the sixth session
For the Arab-China Cooperation Conference on Energy
Under the slogan "One Way One Belt: Promising Investment Opportunities"

Under the umbrella of the League of Arab States, the Arab States and the People's Republic of China agreed to establish the Forum for Arab-Chinese Cooperation. The Declaration of establishing the Forum was signed in Cairo on 14/11/2004. The two sides put the program of work in Cairo on 14/9/2004. The two-year Arab-China Energy Cooperation Conference was held alternately between China and one Arab country. A conference was held in Sanya City, Hainan Province, China, in 2008, and the following courses were held in Sudan-China-Saudi Arabia-China ).
On the basis of Egypt's keenness to promote Arab-Chinese cooperation and to underscore the deep cultural and civilizational ties between the Arab countries and China, Eng. Osama Asran, Deputy Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy and head of the Egyptian delegation during the fifth session of the Arab Cooperation Conference held in the People's Republic of China During the period from 24-27 / 10/2016 to host the Arab Republic of Egypt 6th Session of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Conference during the period from 5-8 November 2018.
It is expected that some 250 participants will attend the official delegations of Arab countries, relevant governmental institutions, international and regional organizations, concerned centers, academic institutes, research institutes and energy companies from both sides, as well as a group of Arab and Chinese investors.
The conference will discuss a number of topics related to the energy investment opportunities and challenges facing China and the Arab countries. The two sides will exchange views on ways of cooperation between the two sides through five sessions in the fields of electricity, electrical connection, sustainable energy, nuclear energy, Oil and natural gas / investment opportunities) in addition to the closing session in which the recommendations will be announced and agreed to activate them.
